Like the best pastors I’ve known, we’ve tried to plant seeds, offer water, and shine a little sunshine into places that needed it most. And like those pastors, we’ve prayed — for guidance, for truth, and for community.
We’ve also prayed and hoped for more involvement, more activism, and deeper connection. We’ve worked to build allies, not just in name, but in heart — people who understand that we’re all striving for the same thing: dignity, safety, and a place to belong.
And maybe — just maybe — we helped someone feel seen, valued, or less alone. If so, the seeds we planted weren’t in vain.
